Express Lane

According to “Dictionary.com” a partial definition of the word “express” is as follows: “adjective - direct or fast”.  To all store managers: “The express lane is not for training purposes!”  I didn’t illegally park in front of the store with my hazard lights flashing, rush through the store collecting and carefully counting my items only to be stuck in a time-warp as a new cashier is learning how to tell the difference between Hothouse and Roma tomatoes.  If the cashier doesn’t know the code for the tomatoes, they shouldn’t be in the express lane.  “Produce call register one, produce call register one, please.”
